Coach HouseAmos Lighting was delighted to be approached by property developers, Caroline and Robert Salisbury of Cityscape when they needed help in creating an imaginative lighting design for their city centre coach house. The open plan living room, dining room and kitchen required a flexible approach so that each space could be lit stylishly. Contemporary stainless steel spotlights have been used in the kitchen area in addition to smart low voltage under cabinet fittings. Living and dining areas have been illuminated with a combination of sharp clear glass wall uplights combined with powerful and complementary ceiling fixtures. In order to allow for different moods to be created within the space all of these fittings can be switched separately while the clean edged appearance of the lighting fixtures provides a cohesive design statement working well with the contemporary feel of the whole space. When approached by Carlton Television recently regarding a new programme to be screened in July featuring Ground Force presenter, Tommy Walsh, Amos Lighting did not hesitate in putting forward the Cityscape development for inclusion in a feature on the lighting of converted properties and building extensions. |
