Townhouse

This striking extension to a suburban 1930’s property required an imaginative lighting scheme due to the interesting architectural features of the space designed by Grainge Architects of Exeter.

The clients requested some dramatic feature lighting in the centre of the space and for this Amos Lighting installed a quantity of “sparkle” mini low voltage downlights . To accentuate the feeling of height in the pitched ceiling, adjustable tungsten halogen up-lighters were installed. These are independently switched and dimmed to the low voltage downlights in order to create a feeling of warmth.

The breakfast bar was accentuated by a pair of contemporary tubular glass lampshades which provide a focal point to the casual dining space.
