The build continues
Work is continuing apace at our new Amos Topsham showroom, with the mezzanine floor now in place and the staircase due to be built any day. The process has taken slightly longer than originally expected, but it has been important to get the showroom just right so that our lighting and furniture can be shown in their best light.
Topsham will be a showcase for a wider choice of on-trend design and affordable lighting, with a variety of personally selected furniture. Our original Marsh Barton site will continue to be the centre for lighting design and project work, and will still offer a range of lighting for customers.
Although we toyed with naming the new Amos Topsham showroom ‘Amos Too’, we have instead plumped for ‘Amos Lighting & Home’, as this perfectly encapsulates the retail offer.
The showroom is located almost opposite Darts Farm, and is set to open its doors to the public in mid-November. We’re very excited about the timing as this is a busy time for interiors with customers sprucing up their homes ready for the winter season.
The past few months have been spent sourcing unique products and researching new designers to showcase in the showroom. Everyone in the team is looking forward to the opening day and new showroom manager Ashton Hargreaves can’t wait to open the doors to the public for the first time.
What David said
Our MD and lead designer David Amos, who has been project managing the showroom fit out, said: “There’s been a lot of interest in the new showroom in the press and amongst our customers, and the next few weeks are going to fly by. Everyone – including me – is very excited to see the finished result.”
Amos Lighting is well known for inspiring customers to look at their lighting afresh – we love to give advice based on sound lighting principles.
