Part of my role as Visual Merchandiser for Amos Lighting + Home is to ensure that the products we have in our stores are unique, on-trend and set us apart from the norm. We put effort into sourcing lighting and furnishings that can’t always be found online or in other stores.

With this in mind, we carefully consider our choices from the simplicity of Danish design to stunning Italian glass. There is a great selection from British designers and manufacturers which also includes local furniture makers and handcrafted lighting. David Amos, owner and Director of Amos Lighting + Home, visits the European design exhibitions to offer the most exclusive and extraordinary products for your home.

We pride ourselves in also offering a variety of design-led and on-trend lighting. One of my favourite collections in store is by the iconic lighting designer, Foscarini. I love the simplicity of style combined with the use of high quality materials such as concrete, carbon fibre and hand blown glass. Foscarini joined forces with design leaders, Diesel, and have developed a fun and unconventional range of lighting, some of which we have in store now alongside many of the design classics from Foscarini.

Whilst we are committed to delivering a strong online offering, we appreciate that purchasing lights for your home is not like buying a smartwatch online. You want to see the light hanging in a store – touch it, feel it, and witness the soft glow of illumination. It’s so difficult to perceive how a lighting fixture is going to fit into your home until you actually see it in front of you. We have a saying that ‘the eye doesn’t lie’!

Nothing beats seeing beautiful lighting and furniture in your home environment and being able to appreciate the quality and detail for yourself, which is why it is so important to us that our customers have the opportunity to visit the showrooms and view our fantastic product range.
